Build stone random rubble wall, Edinburgh
We build stone random rubble walls. As well as commercial projects we regularly work with private clients on various stone masonry projects such as lintel repairs, lime mortar pointing, paving, chimney repairs, fireplaces, stone walls and more. This particular project involved the build of a stone random rubble wall to one face (the wall was built out of breeze block and rendered on one side) of a garden wall. The client was looking for a traditional finish and detailing around an archway which houses a wrought iron gate. Our stone mason team took time to select attractive stone colours, markings and shapes to create an authentic visual finish. The lime mortar was set back/keyed to give it depth and throw out the stone work. The client was delighted with the the end result!
