This includes slate repairs (including a full strip and re-slate), installation of conservation Velux units, cast iron water goods such as gutters and downpipes, and all lead work including lead flat roofing.

All members of our team are fully qualified stonemasons who regularly attend CPD events and Lime and Conservation Courses at the Scottish Lime Centre to continually develop their knowledge and skillset.

In recent decades, buildings have suffered and decayed due to cement-based mortars, which are too rigid and do not allow stone to breathe. Lime mortar is organic, flexible, and breathable, meaning it maintains the structural integrity of stonework and extends the life of the building significantly. Our team have all attended specialist Lime Mortar Courses at the Scottish Lime Centre to develop their expertise in this area.
